Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Workforce Development Instructor for Rigging to deliver classroom, hands-on, and field training for craft professionals on large industrial projects. The role develops field-ready rigging capability through practical demonstrations, written and hands-on assessments, coaching, and competency verification.

The position supports Open Shop operations, deploys to project locations, and assists with mobilization and startup activities while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree or international equivalent and 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, 6-9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Journey-level rigging knowledge with hands-on experience on large industrial projects.
• Current NCCER Advanced Rigger or NCCCO Rigger II certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, hands-on, and field instruction for rigging.
• Evaluate competency through written and practical assessments.
• Support qualification programs and lift planning training.
• Maintain and update training materials and records.
• Travel extensively to project sites for training and startup activities.
• Promote safe execution and compliance with environmental health requirements.
