Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in New Albany, OH is seeking a Senior Rigging Engineer to provide technical support on rigging and bull rigging-related construction processes, reporting to the Cardinal project team. You will prepare plans, review lift submissions, and collaborate with engineering and safety to ensure compliant execution of heavy lifts.

The role involves field inspections, crane/lifting equipment selection, and coordination with subcontractors and safety personnel to deliver complex lifts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with 8–14 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging, and heavy-haul transport.
• Knowledge of Bechtel standards and ES&H handbook.

Responsibilities

• Prepares rigging plans, calculations, and specifications for rigging material and lift equipment.
• Reviews and approves heavy lift plans per Bechtel direction.
• Plans lifts, sequence work, and directs lift plans.
• Coordinates with safety, engineering, and subcontractors on lifting operations.
