Job summary

Bechtel Equipment Operations, Inc. seeks a Rigging Engineer to provide technical support for rigging and heavy haul operations. The role is based in Houston, with relocation to project sites within the US.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop safe lift plans and ensure adherence to Bechtel standards. Responsibilities include selecting lifting gear, calculating loads, and coordinating with field teams to execute complex lifts.

Qualifications

• Bull rigging lift plan experience required.
• Experience in engineering for lifting equipment and heavy lifts.
• Familiarity with ASME B30.20 BTH-1 and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rigging plans, calculations, and specifications for rigging material and lift equipment.
• Review and approve bull rigging plans under certification oversight.
• Select cranes and equipment for safe lifts and monitor operations to ensure compliance.
