Bechtel Corporation in Clay, NY, is seeking a skilled professional to support lifting plans for mechanical equipment, skids, and piping spools. You will coordinate with field engineers, project control planners and superintendents, conduct field measurements, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedules.

The role requires extensive rigging knowledge, field experience, and the ability to lead lifting operations safely.

Formación

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of rigging planning and execution standards and heavy lifting systems.
• Experience supervising personnel and administering subcontracts preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Independently prepares conceptual lift and transport studies.
• Provides technical input into transport, rigging and lift strategies for crane and heavy transport requirements.
• Prepares technical specifications for bid packages and assesses subcontractor bid packages for lifting and abnormal transport.
• Prepares lift data sheets and formal calculations; assists in estimates.
• Reviews and approves medium/critical lift plans or coordinates with a Bechtel CRE.
