Job summary

Hertz is seeking a Sales and Service Specialist for the Hertz Local Edition to serve Lyft/Uber drivers, ensuring the fastest, easiest rental car experience. You will assist with reservations, rentals, and post-rental inquiries while maintaining vehicle readiness and a high standard of customer service.

The role requires strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends. A valid driver’s license is necessary and wages are $23.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professionalism, enthusiasm and outstanding communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience
• Provide assistance creating a rental car reservation, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles to customers.
• Assist customers with post rental inquiries involving the rental and billing process.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while providing helpful customer service that enhances the rental experience.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, extensions, roadside assistance and more.
• Communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and Procedures effectively.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by soliciting business after inquiries and overcoming objections.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up including damage check, cleaning, fueling and fluid levels.
