Job summary

Specialized’s Hilltop Bicycles store in Cranford, NJ seeks a Cycling Specialist to be the frontline host, mentor, and brand advocate for riders both in-store and remotely. You will identify needs, locate goods, and provide quick, frictionless solutions so customers ride longer and better.

You will deliver authentic, inclusive, ride-focused experiences, support visual merchandising, and help meet sales and profitability goals while maintaining high rider satisfaction and superb service.

Qualifications

• Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
• Bike shop experience preferred.
• 1+ years in retail environment preferred.
• Excellent communication with riders and team members.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class rider service to drive sales and rider satisfaction.
• Engage with riders, ask questions, listen to needs, and offer options.
• Inspire purchases and create a lasting positive impression of the brand.
• Provide inclusive, ride-focused experiences for staff and riders.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep areas clean and organized.
• Support store opening/closing with general cleanliness and light janitorial duties.
• Stay current on product features through company literature and training.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
