Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Rheumatologist in Mattoon, IL. This full-time role offers Board Certified or Board Eligible physicians an opportunity to join a regional network with a collaborative team and a customizable schedule, including 5-day or 4-day work week options.

Base compensation is $350,000 per year with fringe benefits and robust PTO, CME days, and relocation assistance. This position emphasizes work-life balance within a high-performing practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Internal Medicine followed by a Rheumatology Fellowship.
• BC/BE in Rheumatology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative rheumatologic care for autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.
• Coordinate patient care and rotation across a regional network.
• Collaborate with the department's physician and APPs in a team-based care model.
• Offer flexible scheduling from traditional Mon-Fri (8:00–17:00) to a 4-day week.
• Manage minor clinical call responsibilities, mainly reviewing labs.
• Maintain thorough EMR documentation for encounters and infusions.
