Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join a regional network anchored in Mattoon, Illinois. This full-time position offers a flexible practice design, with options from a traditional 5-day week to a condensed 4-day schedule, supported by a capable mid-level team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency followed by Rheumatology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or eligible.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong interpersonal and team-based care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative rheumatologic care for autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.
• Coordinate patient care and rotation across a regional network.
• Collaborate within a team-based care model with APPs.
• Offer flexible schedules: 5-day or 4-day work week.
• Manage minor clinical call duties (reviewing critical lab values).
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records for encounters and infusions.
