The role supports a highly organized practice with a focus on work-life balance and flexible scheduling options, including a traditional Monday–Friday or a 4-day condensed week. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive rheumatology care within a well-established regional system, supported by mid-level providers and a structured workflow, while enjoying

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Internal Medicine Residency followed by Rheumatology Fellowship.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (or immediate eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative rheumatologic care.
• Coordinate patient care across an established regional network.
• Collaborate within a team-based care model with APPs and physicians.
• Offer flexible schedules, including 4-day work week options.
• Manage clinical call duties with minimal hospital call burden.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records for encounters and infusions.
