Job summary

USI is seeking an experienced RFP and proposal specialist in Irvine, CA to assist the team leader with RFPs and manage the RFP database. The role focuses on developing creative, high-quality responses for municipal, commercial and employee benefits projects.

You will produce and coordinate graphic and technical content, work with sales and leadership to manage projects, maintain brand standards, organize marketing materials, and support other programs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate college degree.
• Minimum 4 years related work experience.
• Creative approach to business development and communication strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to write technical or creative prose. Writing samples required.
• Communication and project management skills with a customer service focus.
• Demonstrated ability to produce/design visually appealing and compelling presentation and proposal materials. Samples required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RFP team leader in developing and producing creative, high quality, winning responses to RFPs or information requests.
• Produce graphic and technical content and coordinate with others involved.
• Work collaboratively with sales/account/leadership team members to manage projects effectively.
• Provide writing, editing, design, layout and production services for new business presentations, sales, marketing and client communication materials produced internally.
• Manage development and use of regional RFP database.
• Facilitate brand training and provide graphic and brand standards assistance/interpretation to associates producing client communication materials.
• Organize and maintain relevant marketing, brand and sales materials on company intranet working directly with USI Corporate Sales and Marketing team.
• Manage Associations and Membership benefits to determine full execution of benefits, speaking engagements, networking and tracking to ensure ROI.
• Assist with other projects and programs as necessary.
