Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an RFP Specialist to assist the team leader in developing and delivering high-quality responses to RFPs and information requests. You will produce graphic/technical content, coordinate with teammates, and collaborate with sales and leadership to drive successful proposals.

Responsibilities include managing the regional RFP database, providing brand standards support, and organizing marketing assets on the intranet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years related work experience.
• Creative approach to business development and communication strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to write technical or creative prose. Writing samples required.
• Communication and project management skills with a customer service focus.
• Demonstrated ability to produce/design visually appealing and compelling presentation and proposal materials. Samples required.
• Mature judgment and work ethic; comfortable with executive-level and sales-oriented materials.
• Experience with content management software is a plus.
• Strong MS Office, document design and related software skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• General knowledge about regional business community and insurance industry; marketing or professional services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and producing winning responses to RFPs and information requests.
• Produce graphic and technical content and coordinate with others involved.
• Work with sales/account/leadership to manage projects effectively.
• Provide writing, editing, design, layout and production for client materials.
• Manage development and use of the regional RFP database.
• Facilitate brand training and provide brand standards assistance.
• Organize marketing, brand and sales materials on the intranet with USI Corporate teams.
• Manage associations and membership benefits to ensure ROI.
• Assist with other projects and programs as necessary.
