Job summary

CO1002 CDW Government, LLC is seeking a Proposal Specialist to lead end-to-end responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and similar solicitations. You will coordinate across sales, technical, pricing, contracts, legal and program management to craft compliant, persuasive proposals.

You’ll write and edit content, run color team reviews, and use AI tools to accelerate quality and win-focused messaging while ensuring alignment with evaluation criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2+ years in proposal writing/management, project management or related writing roles.
• Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects.
• Proficiency with generative AI tools and new technology.
• Experience with Office suite and PDF tools; familiarity with content platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal process for RFPs, RFIs and RFQs.
• Coordinate color team reviews and cross-functional inputs.
• Develop win themes, compliance matrices and outlines.
• Write, edit and tailor content to evaluation criteria.
• Manage schedules, responsibilities and risk across proposals.
• Support AI-driven content development and knowledge management.
