Job summary

Uwill is seeking a Proposal Writer to join the Customer Operations and Support organization in Massachusetts. You will craft compelling proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and supporting documentation, coordinating with sales, product, and marketing teams to communicate our value proposition and technical elements.

Responsibilities include overseeing proposal materials from drafting to submission, aligning content with brand messaging, and building a knowledge base of responses for future bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experienced writer with excellent proofreading skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax).
• Comfort with Google Docs as well as RFP software tools
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Word
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple demands
• Solid research and proposal writing experience
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of accuracy
• Demonstrated success in responding to RFPs
• Maintains a sense of urgency in driving projects to successful completion
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and submission of proposal materials (RFPs, RFIs, PPTs, etc.).
• Manage the lifecycle of documentation from drafting to submission.
• Segment projects into steps and manage deadlines.
• Customize materials based on sales strategy and branding.
• Generate first drafts by leveraging existing content for comprehensive responses.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, product, counselor success, clinical affairs, and account management.
• Establish a win/loss debrief process and capture lessons learned.
• Manage contributor and reviewer roles per strategy and timeline
