Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Analyst in Lubbock, TX to analyze enterprise payments RFx documents and craft accurate, compliant responses.

You will coordinate with product, security, and sales teams to gather information, ensure consistency, and produce persuasive proposals that meet customer requirements. The role emphasizes structured analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and timely delivery within a dynamic sales environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, business, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
• Experience supporting payments, financial technology, enterprise software, public-sector software, or other complex technology solutions preferred.
• Demonstrated success writing and editing clear, persuasive proposal content.
• Ability to understand software, technical concepts, integrations, and business processes and translate them into customer-facing language.
• Strong analytical and research skills, including identifying underlying requirements and escalation paths.
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills with multiple deadlines.
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with responsible use of AI in proposal workflows, including validation and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Provides concise, structured initial analysis of the RFx to contribute to bid/no bid conversations.
• Owns the analysis and completion of assigned technical and functional questions for active Enterprise Payments RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and related sales documents.
• Interprets complex, incomplete, or ambiguous customer requirements to determine underlying needs and response strategy.
• Develops accurate, thorough, persuasive, and opportunity-specific responses addressing product functionality, integrations, security, and compliance.
• Validates proposed responses against current product documentation, demonstrations, release information, and SME guidance.
• Collaborates with proposal managers, specialists, and writers to ensure alignment with overall proposal strategy and customer priorities.
