Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a software engineer to design and develop production test software in McKinney, TX, collaborating with hardware, software, and program engineers. You will implement engineering best practices and provide hands-on testing support in an on-site role.

Qualifications include a STEM BS, 2+ years in test software with C#, C/C++, and RF test automation; ability to obtain interim DoD clearance; and willingness to work onsite with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields required; typical experience 2+ years.
• Experience developing and deploying test software in C#, CVI, C, and/or C++.
• Experience automating RF test equipment control (VNA, signal generators, spectrum analyzers).
• Experience creating RF test plans using NI Test Suite.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test software solutions for production testing with hardware/software/program engineers.
• Implement system software engineering best practices for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead design activity planning with disciplined engineering processes and mentorship.
• Communicate technical information effectively in design reviews.
• Provide hands-on testing support and mentoring within the engineering team.
• Support RF Technologies department goals alongside the Section Manager.
