Job summary

RTX is hiring a Senior RF Test Systems Engineer to support STaRS Test Automation onsite in McKinney, TX. The role focuses on design, development and maintenance of test equipment and software for radar and surveillance products.

You will collaborate with hardware, software and mechanical teams, perform troubleshooting, and drive efficiency improvements. The position requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of automation experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum five (5) years of experience with emphasis in Automation Test Equipment/ATE/UUT Test Systems Engineering
• Engineering experience for hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance activities within production/manufacturing/product qualification environments
• Experience working and communicating effectively within a cross functional team (test personnel - electrical, software, mechanical, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Proficient in the troubleshooting of test equipment, circuit boards, cables, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive toward goals.
• Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work.
• Facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
• Work well in a team environment.
