Job summary

Marki Microwave is seeking a Test Automation Engineer Intern in Morgan Hill, CA to join our Test Engineering team and develop software-based test methods for RF and microwave products. You will automate testing from setup to data review and disposition, applying your coding skills in a production-like environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with experience in C, Python, Matlab, and familiarity with test equipment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience in C, Python, Matlab for automation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and analyze data quickly.
• Team player with good communication.
• Hands-on attitude in a team environment.
• Experience with SCPI-enabled test equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual bench testing with software.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering and Manufacturing Test teams.
• Develop or modify scripts to automate tests using PathWave.
• Troubleshoot test setups and data conditions.
• Develop databases and analysis/utility tools.
• Document development work and release notes.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate progress to manager.
• Present project results to management at internship end.
