Job summary

Marki Microwave, based in Morgan Hill, CA, is seeking a Test Engineer I to help develop test stations and software for RF components. You will support Design, NPI, and Manufacturing, improving bench testing and automating measurements up to >170 GHz.

You will work with RF test equipment, SCPI-controlled instruments, and data analysis tools to characterize high-frequency devices. Strong collaboration and hands-on problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Product Development, Test Development, New Product Introduction (prototype to volume ramp-up) or Manufacturing Engineering
• Hands on experience with RF and Electronic Test Equipment to characterize high frequency devices and modules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design and Manufacturing to create test solutions for NPI and Manufacturing.
• Develop software that controls equipment, collects data, and guides Engineers and Operators.
• Research and propose new test solutions and equipment for RF components.
• Understand RF/Microwave testing theory and run tests including S-parameters, Noise Figure/Temperature, and more.
