Job summary

Marki Microwave in Morgan Hill, CA is seeking a Test Automation Engineer Intern to join the Test Engineering team and contribute to software-based test methodologies for RF and microwave products. You will automate bench testing, work with engineering and manufacturing teams, and develop tools to collect, analyze, and review test data for product disposition.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with hardware-controlling software experience.
• Experience in software programming such as C, Python, Matlab, and other common measurement automation and analysis tools.
• Organize and manage multiple projects and priorities; analyze data quickly to meet time-to-market needs.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on in a team atmosphere.
• Experience with controlling automated RF & Microwave test equipment using SCPI protocol is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Automate manual bench testing with software.
• Work with Engineering and Manufacturing Test teams to understand RF component testing and data collection.
• Develop or modify software to automate the manual test process using in-house or PathWave.
• Troubleshoot test issues including setup, calibration, and test conditions.
• Develop and manage databases and Analysis/Utility tools.
• Document development work, release notes, maintenance guides, and training materials.
• Manage priorities and report progress to manager.
• Present project results to management at internship end.
