Job summary

Qorvo seeks a hands-on Electrical/Computer Engineering intern at the Phoenix Design Center in Chandler, AZ to support RF test and measurement activities. You will develop automated test software using AI, and help analyze RF/Analog data to inform design decisions, under guidance from senior engineers.

The role emphasizes learning through real projects, collaboration with TX/RX teams, and exposure to upper management, with potential for full-time opportunities as available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with RF emphasis.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, C++, C#, or other OO language.
• Knowledge of using AI for coding and automation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data tools like Spotfire.

Responsibilities

• Create automated test software using AI to control test equipment and execute test plans.
• Develop measurement automation using Python, C++, and C# with internal Qorvo software.
• Measure product using RF and Analog test equipment.
• Analyze data in Excel and Spotfire; prepare clear reports for stakeholders.
• Assist TX and RX designers with evaluating parts from DOE builds.
• Increase test productivity and accuracy of RF/Analog measurements.
• Interpret customer specs and develop testing methodologies accordingly.
