Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Engineer in Tucson, AZ, onsite, to contribute to RF subsystems and sensors for missile products. You will lead small teams, define roadmaps, interface with government personnel, and support modernization initiatives.

Requires a STEM degree and 8+ years in RF design/test, plus ability to obtain interim DoD clearance. Onsite role in Tucson with relocation consideration and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM fields.
• 8+ years in RF subsystems design, integration or test.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines to define RF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, and test RF sensors and subsystems across MHz to mmWave.
• Decompose system requirements into RF component specs.
• Measure RF components and subsystems in chamber and range environments.
• Model and analyze link budgets, RF cascades, EMI, antenna patterns, and ADC characteristics.
