Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior RF Engineer in Tucson, AZ to design, test, and integrate RF sensors and subsystems for missile products. You will decompose system requirements into RF components and measure performance in chamber and range environments, contributing across interdisciplinary teams.

The role requires RF subsystems experience, DoD clearance eligibility, and collaboration with Systems, Mechanical, SW, Algorithms teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with 5+ years of RF subsystem experience.
• Experience designing, integrating, or testing RF subsystems and sensors.
• Ability to obtain interim DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and integrate RF sensors and subsystems across frequencies from MHz through millimeter-wave.
• Decompose system requirements into RF component requirements.
• Measure RF components and sensors in chamber and range environments.
• Model link budgets, RF cascades, electromagnetic emissions (EME), antenna patterns, phase noise, receiver sensitivity, transmitter power, spurious signals, modulation, isolation, and ADC characteristics.
