Raytheon is seeking an RF Subsystems Design Electrical Engineer to join the Effector RF Design Department in Tucson, AZ. You will contribute to RF hardware design, testing, and integration for radar, datalink, and other RF applications in missile programs.

The role demands a Master's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, coursework in RF systems, and experience modeling and measuring RF components. Onsite work with opportunities for career development and mentorship are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Electronics, electromagnetics, signal processing, and RF systems coursework.
• Coursework or research experience with modeling and measurement of RF components or systems.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis, design, development, and integration of transmitters, receivers, exciters, radios, antennas, and radomes.
• Work in a lab to characterize systems and verify modules.
• Develop system-level models of RF devices including radars, sensors, radios, and telemeters.
• Model RF subcomponent non-idealities and predict system performance impacts.
• Perform generic RF modeling including link budget, system sensitivity, and waveform design.
• Provide engineering support through design reviews and briefings to leadership and customers.
