Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer specializing in RF subsystems to design, develop and validate RF architectures for missile guidance systems. The role requires collaboration with program teams, suppliers and government customers, with frequent design reviews and system-level integration.

You will lead maturation of RF subsystems, develop requirements and test plans, mentor junior engineers and occasional travel, while supporting multiple programs on-site at RTX

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM and 8+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical hardware development.
• Experience in subsystems, systems engineering, requirement development/validation.
• Experience in developing RF subsystems.
• Knowledge of DoD/DoW hardware development process and MBSE.

Responsibilities

• Office-based environment; may include labs or field work and travel.
• Collaborate with management, customers and suppliers on programs.
• Evaluate hardware designs and subsystems; document requirements and test plans.
• Lead design reviews; mentor engineers; perform root-cause investigations.
