Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join the Effector RF Design Department, working on RF systems, antennas, and related hardware.

You will collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team, create 3D CAD models and drawings, develop prototype hardware, and perform integration and test work. A Master’s degree and strong fundamentals in ME are required, with relocation eligibility and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM major obtained upon start date.
• Coursework, project, internship, or professional experience in manufacturing and design, thermodynamics and heat transfer, vibrations, materials, mechatronics, and/or statics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating in a multi-discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems
• Creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs
• Developing prototype hardware designs and coordinating fabrication
• Performing hands on integration and test support for prototype hardware
• Holding design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts
