Job summary

RTX's Effector RF Design Department seeks an entry‑level Mechanical Engineer to join a multi‑discipline team. You’ll develop RF hardware, create 3D CAD models and drawings, coordinate fabrication, and support integration and testing of prototype hardware.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field and exposure to design, thermodynamics, vibrations, materials, mechatronics, or statics. Relocation eligibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM major by start date.
• Coursework, project, internship, or professional experience in manufacturing and design, thermodynamics and heat transfer, vibrations, materials, mechatronics, or statics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating in a multi‑discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems
• Creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs
• Developing prototype hardware designs and coordinating fabrication
• Performing hands on integration and test support for prototype hardware
• Holding design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts
