Job summary

BearCom Garland in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install and service wireless communications systems across the Dallas area, including Garland. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service, diagnosing RF equipment, and performing programming to meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz systems, DAS/BDA, and is comfortable with regional travel and on-call hours.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing, repairing, programming and installing RF equipment.
• Strong understanding of 2-way radio theory and RF propagation.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and diagrams.
• Proficient in MS Office and having a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel regionally and participate in on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Install and service wireless equipment (UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz, DAS/BDA).
• Create mid-level programming codeplugs for multiple zones and channels.
• Recommend equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Travel regionally and be on-call as needed.
