Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Technician 4 in Plymouth, MN to work with the RF electronics prototype development lab. You will support R&D, engineering development and transition-to-production on RF circuits and telemetry systems, building and testing boards, cables and fixtures. The ideal candidate has extensive electronics experience, ability to read schematics, basic soldering skills and familiarity with RF test equipment.

Travel up to 25% may be required. U.S.

Qualifications

• 6 years of electronics experience.
• Able to read schematics and drawings, follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic soldering skills and ability to earn IPC J-STD-001 certification with provided training.
• Familiarity with RF circuit test equipment including vector network analyzers, signal generators and analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and troubleshoot RF boards, test setups, cables, assemblies and fixtures.
• Provide technical support to engineers on various tasks and document results.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings and schematics.
• Perform data analysis and contribute to design changes.
