Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a detail-oriented RF/test technician to support testing and troubleshooting RF and digital equipment. The role involves working under a microscope on microelectronics and assembling small components with precision.

Qualifications

• Experience testing and troubleshooting RF and digital equipment.
• Familiarity with test instruments such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to handle small parts with precision and manual dexterity.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Tests and troubleshoots RF products including RF drawers, discrete RF components and microelectronic parts in accordance with technical specifications and engineering instructions.
• Tests and troubleshoots digital circuit cards in accordance with specifications and engineering instructions.
• Analyzes equipment operating characteristics to isolate malfunctions in products and integrated test systems
• Diagnoses malfunctions using schematics, wiring diagrams, source control drawings and other test procedures and equipment.
• Removes, replaces and/or repairs system issues as required.
