Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking an experienced Microelectronics Test Technician 4 to support RF hardware for high‑reliability defense applications. This role involves testing, tuning, and troubleshooting RF microelectronics under a microscope and in clean environments.

The position is a 4th shift (Fri‑Sun) from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with 36 hours paid for 40, on-site eligibility for a Secret clearance, and opportunities to contribute to yield improvements and

Qualifications

High attention to detail and manual dexterity required.
Ability to work independently on complex assignments and mentor junior technicians.
US Citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and calibrate RF test equipment to test RF microelectronics circuits.
Execute test procedures and measure RF parameters across frequency bands.
Troubleshoot RF hardware to component level under microscope.
Support tuning and optimization of RF circuits to meet specs.
Read schematics and data sheets to perform test and debug activities.
Document results in ERP/MES systems and generate quality notifications.
