Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior leader to manage a design team within AESA subsystems. You will oversee RF and electromechanical engineers, drive design and testing activities, and mentor staff across product lines.

The role requires strong communication and strategic planning across multiple groups. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in engineering, current Secret clearance, and a track record of delivering high‑quality hardware for complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant RF subsystems experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead an IPT or technical team and to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide general team supervision, performance management and career development.
• Plan design activities and provide technical oversight for the group.
• Collaborate with program management to align staffing with goals.
• Manage manpower, risk assessment, and mentoring.
• Develop proposal inputs and coordinate with internal and external customers.
