Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal RF Microwave/Mixed Signal Design Engineer for the Baltimore, MD area. This full-time onsite role offers a 9/80 schedule and requires leadership in RF/microwave architecture, design, verification, and support across complex electronic sensor products.

You will work on AESA and other RF subsystems for radar platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams. A bachelor’s in EE and 5+ years of RF expertise are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5+ years RF/microwave design experience.
• Experience with RF test methods and lab equipment.

Responsabilités

• Design RF and mixed-signal assemblies (apertures, radome, filters, backplanes).
• Model and verify AESA and RF subsystems within radar systems.
• Use industry tools to simulate RF performance (EM, RF).
• Create test specs and perform hardware verification.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Prototype and support production from prototype to full-rate.
