Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Electromechanical Design Engineer to design, prototype and produce state-of-the-art RF, digital, and mixed-signal multi-chip modules (MCMs), PWBs, and CCAs. You’ll collaborate within a cross-functional IPT with electrical design, systems engineering, thermal and manufacturing teams to drive milestones.

You will lead tasks, mentor less experienced personnel, and work toward delivering secure, high-performance hardware across programs while navigating DoD clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; master’s degree with 0 years or 4 years applicable experience in lieu of degree.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain DoD Active Secret clearance.
• Experience with PWB/CCA design and signal routing, including chip-scale packaging technologies.
• Proficiency with design tools and 3D modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototyping and production support of RF, digital, and mixed signal multi-chip modules (MCMs) and PWBs/CCAs.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) and communicate with electrical design, systems engineering, and manufacturing.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet project milestones within schedule and budget.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
