Job summary
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD seeks a Principal or Senior Principal RF Microwave/Mixed Signal Design Engineer for onsite work. You will design and verify RF/mixed-signal subsystems, including AESA and radar-related components, using industry tools and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements include a relevant engineering degree with RF experience and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with 5 years of RF/microwave experience
- Master’s degree with 3 years RF/microwave experience or PhD with 3 years RF/microwave experience
- US Citizenship is required and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance
- Experience with electrical design software and equipment
- Collaborative cross-functional team experience
Responsibilities
- Design, model, and verify RF and mixed-signal assemblies and subsystems
- Develop AESA/phased-array radar subsystems
- Use industry tools for RF modeling and validation
- Plan and execute RF/microwave hardware tests with lab equipment
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Support product lifecycle from concept to production and sustainment
