Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst to support commission and revenue finance teams. The role involves incentive design, compensation strategy, territory analytics, and assisting in forecasting and budgeting to meet sales objectives.

You will partner with Field Leadership, Sales Operations, and HR to drive financial targets and improve processes. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years FP&A experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint, ERP, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related finance function.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with ability to interpret data and provide recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems, financial planning tools, and BI platforms preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate with finance and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business deeply, communicate results, and present recommendations to leadership.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in sales compensation systems.
• Answer questions from managers about sales compensation plans, calculations, and payout structures.
• Input data into sales compensation systems with accuracy and consistency across records.
• Issue and track commission-related documents to employees and managers; maintain plan templates and agreements.
• Assist leadership with headcount planning, territory design, and account alignment proposals.
• Collaborate across functions and provide detailed sales analysis to support annual targets.
• Compile data from multiple sources, perform variance and trend analysis, and create outputs for stakeholders.
• Manage quarterly sales forecasting; identify forecast assumptions and gaps for leadership.
