Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems in Minneapolis is seeking a Summer FP&A Intern to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team, building and refining models that quantify revenue growth and evaluating account/physician performance to identify growth drivers.

This internship offers hands-on experience with data wrangling, forecasting, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to inform executive decision‑making in a fast‑growing medical device company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergrad or graduate program in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science).
• Expected graduation date following the internship; rising junior/senior or grad student preferred.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue modeling by building and maintaining financial models isolating revenue drivers.
• Analyze account and physician data to identify growth drivers.
• Link KPIs to forward performance and forecast accuracy.
• Prepare analysis and reporting with tables, charts, dashboards for stakeholders.
• Contribute to planning cycles for forecasting and budgeting.
• Provide analytical support for ad hoc analyses and process-improvement initiatives.
