Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Summer FP&A Intern to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will help build models, evaluate revenue drivers, and connect KPIs to future outcomes, partnering across functions to drive forecasting and planning.

The role develops financial modeling, data analysis, and business storytelling while supporting a high-growth medical device company in Minnesota. Collaboration, learning, and impactful projects are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in undergrad or grad program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or Data Science.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred; expected graduation date after internship.
• Strong Excel skills; ability to build/interpret financial models.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with BI or data tools encouraged (Power BI/Tableau/SQL/Python).

Responsibilities

• Support revenue modeling and isolate drivers of growth.
• Analyze account/physician data to identify high-growth patterns.
• Link KPIs to forward performance and forecast accuracy.
• Prepare analyses and reporting (tables, charts, dashboards) for reviews.
• Support planning cycles: forecasting, budgeting and business reviews.
• Contribute to ad hoc analyses and process improvements.
