Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst in Plano, TX (contract) to optimize commercial processes, tools, and reporting. You will partner with sales, finance, marketing, and supply chain to deliver data-driven insights, streamline workflows, and ensure accurate execution of commercial strategies.

You will analyze data, develop dashboards, and support forecasting, pricing, and promotions while collaborating across teams to improve efficiency and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in a commercial operations, sales operations, business analysis, or similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems and commercial processes such as pricing, promotions, and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, pricing, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring reports and dashboards for sales, finance, and leadership.
• Support development and execution of commercial strategies including promotions and pricing changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, tools, and systems.
• Assist in forecasting, demand planning, and pipeline analysis to support revenue targets.
• Validate data integrity across multiple systems and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for management based on analysis.
