Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst on a contract basis in Plano, Texas. This role supports the optimization of commercial processes, tools, and reporting to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

The position collaborates with sales, finance, marketing, and supply chain to provide data-driven insights, develop recurring dashboards, and assist in pricing, promotions, and forecasting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, or related field.
• Experience in commercial operations, sales ops or similar analytical role.
• Proficient in Excel; strong reporting/BI tool experience (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiar with CRM/ERP systems and commercial processes (pricing, promotions, forecasting).
• Excellent communication; able to present findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in consumer goods or manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, pricing, and customer data to spot trends and risks.
• Develop and maintain recurring sales, finance, and leadership dashboards.
• Support commercial strategies including promotions and product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and tools.
• Forecast, demand planning, and pipeline analysis to meet targets.
• Validate data integrity across systems with stakeholders.
• Prepare management presentations and recommendations.
• Assist CRM or other platforms with training and documentation.
• Monitor KPIs and service-level metrics; suggest corrective actions.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses.
