Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle training professional to design and deliver training across Patient Access, Patient Financial Services, Managed Care and Coding. You will develop competency testing, track quality metrics, and coordinate sessions with internal/external resources.

Role requires 3+ years in training for revenue cycle, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio and EPIC-related training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Three years of experience developing, planning and facilitating training materials, performance improvement and program management required.
• Strong analytical, oral, and written communication & presentation skills required.
• Three years of revenue cycle related functions in conjunction with training preferred.
• Experience with software related to developing training and other virtual training materials required.
• Certification requirement within 1 year as designated by management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and coordination of training sessions, programs and competency testing for Revenue Cycle Operations.
• Prepare, assemble and revise course materials annually or as requested to meet department needs.
• Conduct training, development, competency testing and orientation sessions for partners in Revenue Cycle areas.
• Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and facilitate lean initiatives to improve performance metrics.
• Test EPIC upgrades with Revenue Cycle teams and document workflow impacts using Visio.
• Maintain master training calendar and central storage of training materials for easy access.
