Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to lead the Richardson, TX clinic’s revenue cycle operations. This role focuses on maximizing collections from patients, insurers, and financial assistance programs while ensuring compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, CPT/ICD9/HCPCS coding, and a proven track record in supervising revenue cycle teams. Excellent Microsoft Office skills and leadership ability are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Finance, Business or equivalent.
• At least four years medical revenue cycle work experience.
• Two years experience managing, delegating, and following up on work priorities.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT, ICD9, and HCPC coding, plus managed care understanding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily revenue cycle operations from patient visit entry to adjudication of accounts.
• Ensures adherence to SOPs and compliance; regularly audits staff work.
• Prepares monthly revenue cycle analytics and aged accounts; improves processes for efficiency.
• Drives implementation of new initiatives and change management.
• Develops and maintains revenue cycle training materials and conducts SOP/system training.
