Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to lead the revenue cycle liaison department at our Richardson location. This hybrid role supports virtual teams and coordinates with site of service points to ensure efficient workflows and strong KPI performance.

The ideal candidate has a finance or business background with extensive revenue cycle experience, including medical billing knowledge and proficiency in PMS platforms and Microsoft Office. Join a leader in oncology care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business or equivalent or 7+ years revenue cycle experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, coding and medical terminology, plus understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO).
• Knowledge of multiple PMS platforms and oncology billing preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operation of the revenue cycle liaison department to ensure client satisfaction.
• Ensures daily, weekly, and monthly liaison functions are performed.
• Oversees all liaison functions and monitors revenue cycle KPI performance.
• Monitors site of service-initiated concerns and follows up professionally.
• Acts as liaison between direct reports and RBO RCM department leaders.
• Recruits, hires and supervises staff and develops performance goals.
• Identifies process gaps and develops tools/plans to improve efficiencies.
• Performs post-project reviews and implements corrective actions.
• Maintains knowledge of payor policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Adheres to confidentiality and HIPAA in patient records and collections.
