Job summary

Primary Health Solutions is seeking a Revenue Cycle Supervisor I to oversee billing operations, drive issue resolution with payers, and lead RCM staff to ensure timely reimbursement.

The role partners with senior management to improve processes, train staff, and maintain compliant revenue cycle workflows across the practice. Strong knowledge of payer policies and coding accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 5 years in Physician’s related billing.
• Knowledge of eligibility, charges, payment, denials and appeal processes.
• Some hands-on coding knowledge and/or experience.
• EMR/EFT systems experience required (Epic, NextGen, Athena, E-Clinical Works).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical office software.
• Knowledge of health insurance providers.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
• Payer Enrollment knowledge or experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage RCM staff performance with regular feedback and one-on-one meetings.
• Identify and resolve patient reimbursement issues on claims, denials and appeals.
• Coordinate with RCM Management & Payer Enrollment coordinator to resolve provider issues.
• Ensure accurate billing information is obtained in collaboration with Operations.
• Review and process financial hardship applications for approval.
• Provide training to front desk staff and practice managers on payer processes.
• Educate providers on correct coding practices with coding/quality staff.
• Collaborate with payers on claims issues and payer contracts.
