Qualifications

• 3+ years of revenue cycle management experience with a strong understanding of healthcare billing cadence.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold employees accountable.
• Hands-on experience with capitated payment models and fee-for-service billing.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a six-person revenue cycle team consisting of billing and denials professionals
• Oversee day-to-day revenue cycle operations including claims submission, payment posting, denials management, and accounts receivable
• Manage billing and reimbursement across multiple health plans, including Medi-Cal and Managed Care payer contracts
• Oversee capitated revenue streams including member rosters, payment tracking, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Manage fee-for-service billing and ensure claims are submitted accurately and reimbursement is optimized
• Monitor outstanding claims, error reports, and denial trends while driving timely follow-up and corrective action
• Create and maintain reporting on billing, collections, AR, denials, and revenue trends to provide leadership with actionable insights
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Medi-Cal, DHCS, and payer-specific billing requirements while supporting internal and external audits
