Job summary

Universal Health Services, headquartered in King of Prussia, PA, seeks a dynamic Revenue Cycle Manager of Continuous Improvement to lead strategic planning and implementation of revenue cycle improvement projects across automation, analytics, and education.

The role collaborates with facilities, IT, and vendors to optimize workflows, evaluate new tools, and drive value through enhanced financial performance and patient experience. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare revenue systems and operations including Patient Access, Charge Capture, and Patient Financial Services.
• Experience improving operations with lean or six sigma process improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides revenue cycle governance and expertise to establish standards and processes for efficient patient flow, maximum revenue capture and cash collections, and continuous improvement.
• Manages a team providing training, governance, and support to facilities and centralized functions across front, middle, and back-end revenue cycle operations.
• Measures and monitors outsourced vendors with KPIs, service reviews, and benchmarking.
• Leads multiple projects to increase revenue capture and cash collections through process automation, analytics, and new technology implementation.
• Reviews patient accounting data to reduce accounts receivable via cash collections, workflow prioritization, and denials management.
