Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an experienced revenue cycle professional to own reimbursement performance across the organization, focusing on denials, underpayments, and payer variances. You will drive timely, accurate claim resolution and shape reimbursement strategy for a rapidly growing infusion provider.

The role requires leadership of billing operations, collaboration with care teams, and adherence to payer contracts and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of collections, billing, or cash posting in the specialty infusion or oncology healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of payer requirements, claims processes, and denial management.
• Experience with billing/EHR systems and clearinghouses; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reimbursement performance across the organization.
• Identify root causes of denials and underpayments; implement process improvements.
• Oversee billing operations: charge capture, claims submission, denial management.
• Monitor KPIs (clean claim rate, denial rate, collection rate, AR aging) and report trends.
• Supervise, train, and develop billing staff; set performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with payer contracts, coding guidelines, and regulations (HIPAA, CMS).
• Prepare monthly revenue cycle reports and forecasts.
• Lead audits and quality control related to billing practices.
• Report to the Director of Revenue Cycle.
