Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Post-secondary education or coursework in accounting/finance preferred.
• At least five years in billing and collections; LTC experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of RCM systems, processes and metrics.
• Collaborative leadership to develop a business office team.
• Professionalism working with residents, families, and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue cycle from pre-admission to discharge including census, billing, collections and Medicaid tracking.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement, and Social Services for accurate patient accounts.
• Serve as financial liaison during resident journey and discharge obligations.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and corporate guidelines including cash handling and segregation of duties.
• Utilize performance metrics (bad debt, cash collections, AR aging, DSO) to identify challenges and implement solutions.
• Partner with Market RCM leaders to support broader office initiatives.
