Genesis in West Virginia Daniels is seeking a Business Office Manager to lead revenue cycle from pre-admission to discharge, optimize cash collections and ensure compliance across centers.

You will supervise the business office team, partner with Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement, and Social Services, and drive performance using established metrics.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Degree in accounting/finance or related coursework is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in billing and collections, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management systems and performance metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a business office team.
• Professionalism in interactions with residents, families, and center leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full revenue cycle from pre-admission to discharge and optimize collections.
• Lead a business office team including assistants, bookkeepers and receptionists.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Clinical Reimbursement, and Social Services to ensure accurate patient accounts.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and corporate guidelines and cash-handling procedures.
• Use revenue cycle metrics (bad debt, cash collections, AR aging, DSO) to drive improvements.
• Partner with Market RCM leaders to align with broader initiatives.
