ActiveProspect seeks a Revenue and Billing GL Manager to lead the end-to-end order-to-cash process, ensuring accurate billing and GAAP-compliant revenue recognition. You will partner with Sales, Customer Success, IT, and Finance to optimize processes across Zuora, Salesforce, and RevPro.

The role requires 7+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on Zuora experience; CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Hands-on Zuora experience, with a strong preference for Zuora Billing.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and close responsibilities.
• 2+ years of experience managing or leading accounting professionals.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with Salesforce integration to Billing and Billing implementations.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with financial systems: Zuora Billing, Zuora CPQ, RevPro, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Billing and Revenue team, and own the order-to-cash process.
• Ensure that all Sales orders bill per contract in a timely manner.
• Partner with customer success on credit requests and processes.
• Ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition aligns with GAAP.
• Collaborate with IT and Revenue Operations; be the systemic expert over O2C.
• Review GL reconciliations related to Revenue Recognition, Deferred Revenue, and related items.
• Reconcile Salesforce to Zuora Billing, Stripe and cash accounts.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Review commissions and automate reporting for sales and CS.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support consolidation and footnotes in financial statements.
• Ensure intercompany accounting and eliminations across entities.
