Job summary

Watco is seeking a Revenue Accounting Clerk to support timely and accurate revenue capture across railroad and terminal operations. Under supervision, you will audit revenue moves, apply charges per contract, and prepare invoices for customers.

The role requires 2–4 years of office experience, a high school diploma or GED, and comfort using SAP, RMI, and WATSS. Strong customer focus and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two to four years office type experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proactive customer service mindset and ability to respond to inquiries.
• Familiarity with invoicing, billing and revenue processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand tariff and contract pricing.
• Audit railroad and/or terminal revenue moves.
• Apply receivable and payable charges per contract specifications.
• Ensure entry of all invoices for billing periods (manual or automated).
• Generate and send invoices to customers timely; respond to disputes promptly.
• Maintain charge rules and codes within operating systems for contracts and tariffs.
• Create and analyze reports; meet internal and external customer needs.
